A mission of senior officials of the Honduran National Commission of Banks and Insurance (CNBS, for its acronym in Spanish), consisting of Messrs. Evasio Asencio, Lead Commissioner; Evin Andrade, Superintendent of Banks and Other Financial Institutions; and Daniel Gómez Santeli, Risk Manager, recently visited the Superintendency of Banks of Panama to expand their knowledge of cross-border supervision of regional banking groups.
The mission participated in work sessions through which they were introduced to the criteria and guidelines applied by this entity in terms of cross-border supervision, the supervision methodology, the execution of the supervision process, the reporting protocol, among others.
