With the purpose of strengthen technical activities and the students’ learning process, the Superintendency of Banks of Panama (SBP) made a significant donation of technological equipment to Centro Regional de Panamá Oeste of Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá (UTP).
This donation will benefit approximately 2300 people, including students and professors, especially those from the Schools of Computer Engineering and Science and Technology. The contribution included 41 laptops, 19 desktops, 7 monitors, 13 switch-type devices and implements, and 1 rack, all in excellent condition for use.
The Secretary General of the SBP, Michelle Arango, presented the donation to the Director of Centro Regional de Panamá Oeste of UTP, Lineth Alaín.
With these actions, the SBP is committed to the educational, social, and cultural development of the student population in our country.
Authorities from the Directorate of Capital Assets of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic were present at the event.
