The Superintendent of Banks, Amauri A. Castillo, and the Magistrate President of the Supreme Court of Justice, María Eugenia López Arias, signed a Cooperation Master Agreement. The purpose of this agreement is to establish a strategic alliance for the development of joint programs, training sessions, projects, and activities related to the banking and trust industries, as well as other matters pertaining to financial reporting entities.
This Master Agreement will strengthen the bond of mutual interests and will contribute to promoting and developing inter-agency technical cooperation and assistance, benefiting both entities and their users.
Superintendent Castillo stated that “within the framework of its 25th anniversary celebration, this Cooperation Agreement will enable both entities to collaborate and develop joint activities for the benefit of the users of the banking and justice systems in our country.”
This cooperation will bring the courts and judges with the opportunity to enhance their expertise and knowledge to better fulfill their duties in strengthening the justice system in Panama.
